This is one gorgeous filly, it hasn't been a colour year for Paint mares
(at more than just our ranch) but for the solid coloured mares (like
this gal's mom) they sure throw the colour.
Blizzard at 1 month old getting her first halter lesson. She is a
quick learner. She was also playing in the mud before we started
working with her.
All in black and white!!
Here is Blizzard at 6 days old. She is filling in nicely and is
showing us she is going to be a superb horse!
Blizz is a granddaughter of Reys Alil Lena! Her full brother (2 years
old) is in reining training right now. With other greats like Doc
O'Lena, Peppy San, Tippy Tivio, Mr. Chant Bob, Two Eyed Jack, Jubal
Troupe, Gallant Move, Snipper Reed, Imperial One, Gallant Ghost, Poco
Pine, Painted Jewel, Painted Skipper, Blackeye Sioux, and more she
doesn't have a whole in her pedigree! Her bloodlines are full of Champions in
Halter, Western Pleasure, Working Cow, Racing, Barrels, Heading &
Heeling, Reining, Cutting, Trail, and even Hunter Under Saddle.
She is going to excel any way she goes.
Blizz just getting into a sliding stop (I was too quick with the camera)
and her stretching out. This filly is super athletic, she can run
circles all day, she does amazing sliding stops already. She is
going to make a reiner like her brother!
Blizzard at 1 day old. She is such a big filly that our small foal
blanket just barely fit her! She has some good size.
First time on her new legs. We call this pretty gal Blizzard
(another ice cream treat and also she was born on a snowy, hailing,
raining, blowing, blizzardy day).
Blizz just found her legs! Although they don't work so good yet.
Kota foaled about about 11:30 am. We were lucky enough just to
catch her as the foal was half out.
We are wanting to keep this filly to add to our herd, but for the moment
she is for sale, until others sell.
