Black AQHA
Filly
Bug is a very laid back easy going filly,
we are very excited to ad her to our riding and broodmare band in the
future.
Bug in March 2010, covered in hay dust. She is starting to fill in
nicely, and as you can see her tongue doesn't stick out anymore.
The first cold night we had in the winter, she decided it wasn't cool to
hang it out anymore, and ever since it's stayed in her mouth, lol.
Not quite a year old yet.
Bug at about 2 1/2 months. She's just starting to shed out her
baby fuzz and show her black coat again.
Here's Bug getting a halter lesson at 1 month old, and showing us what
she thinks of it.
Bug was born late at night on the 30th. She is a gorgeous black,
which we didn't expect with her mom being chestnut and dad a bay roan
(and her full brother last year was a red roan). She has a star
and tiny snip and 2 small cornet socks on her hind legs. We are
hoping she will also roan to be a beautiful blue roan.
Bug likes to keep her tongue hanging out sometimes for some strange
reason, we've found nothing wrong with her mouth at all. She is
quite the character already, and has a gorgeous hip and conformation.
We are keeping this outstanding filly to replace her mom in our breeding
program, as her colouring is more suited to what we are breeding for.
