Design Your
Foal
We have decided to do something different in the
world of Horse Breeding. This is for those who would love to have
their own hand picked foal but don't want to breed and foal out a mare
(or don't have a mare), or have a stallion around. This option
allows you the buyer to pick from our top quality herd, which stallion will breed your choice of
mare. You own the resulting foal from the time it is born, and can even name
your own foal if wanted. There is a fee for a stallion and a
separate fee for each mare chosen to be bred. The buyer pays 50%
of fees before breeding, and the remaining 50% when the foal is born.
This is allowing everyone the chance to breed and own their own foal
without the hassles of actually breeding, feeding and caring for the
mare during gestation and lactation, and foaling the mare out (as this
prevents many from breeding their own because of lack of facilities
and/or know how).
With the mares and stallions at Colour V Ranch to
choose from, you know you will get a quality foal.
We have AQHA, APHA, ApHCC, and Percheron Cross
mares available, and our stallions are AQHA.
