2008 ApHCC
& ApHC
Red Dun with blanket Stallion (or gelding)
SOLD to Cindy Isaac of Horsefly BC.
She is excited to have this boy as she reminds her so much of his daddy
(whom her father owned for many years). We do have Doc's sister
Patch now though, so watch for her in our broodmare herd next year.
Im Dun In Doc is a son of the great Ima Lena Too (who won the
World Champion Cutting in 1991, and the Canadian Champion Cutting in
1996, as well as many Open Cutting wins on his performance record.
He is also a proven sire of incredible money earners in Open Working Cow
Horse, Reining, and Cutting in both Canada and the USA.) Doc is
also the grandson of the legendary Ima Doc O'Lena (World Champion ApHC
Hall of Fame Stallion) and Wa-Jo-Bar (Reserve World Champion Cutting
Mare). Doc's mom is from Texas, and is a daughter of Maxi Lena (by
Doc O'Lena) as well as Doc O'Lena bred on the bottom. An added
bonus to this wonderful Appaloosa stallion is his colour, a red dun with
a blanket!

Doc in June
2010. He is filling in so nicely!! This boy is just
gorgeous, and still has a bit of growing to do.

Doc has had
some round pen training started and faces up and hooks on nicely.

Doc in the
fall pasture, October 2009.
Doc is
triple bred Doc O Lena, and is already showing us all his cutting moves
on the dogs in his pen!

Doc in January
2010, starting to fill in nicely, and has a muzzle full of molasses from
his protein lick.

Doc will only
stand to a select few outside mares, but first he will be going into
training and we'll see where that takes us.
Pictured here
as a yearling, August 2009.

Doc has very
loud dun markings, like his mom, we are looking forward to his foals in
the future. He has a beautiful hip and excellent conformation.
Doc will stand to a limited amount of outside mares (if not sold) for 2010, before his
training starts.
