Mud Pie is already showing us good size and bone with a nice level head.
Mom is a 1/2 percheron (1/2 morgan) mare that is 16hh and stout and her
sire is a 16hh Quarter Horse. Mud Pie has long legs and already
towers over the other older foals. She is a quick smooth running
filly already. She would
make an excellent ranch horse, trail, gymkhana, or take her english or
driving.
Here is Mud Pie at about 1 month old. This was her first halter
lesson, and she took it fairly well. She is a sweet horse, and is
definitely showing some roan hairs in her coat now!
This filly is very correct and nicely put together.
Mud Pie (named after another ice cream desert) a few hours after birth,
it was a bit chilly.
This filly will mature to at least 16hh.
Here she is again beside mom, and you can see just how long her legs
are!!
Here's Mud Pie later in the afternoon of her first day, she was born
running!
She
is a sweetheart and very curious. She is also a smooth beautiful
mover already.
