Nala's always the curious one and doesn't want left out of anything.  She loves attention.

Nala is an excellent riding horse, in both the arena and on the trail.  She likes to work cows, we call her the "Bulldozer" as she just pushes them cows out of her way if they aren't cooperating.  Nala isn't herd bound like most, she could care less if the rest of the horses are way ahead or behind, she just keep doing what you tell her to do.  She is a very smooth ride, easy to catch, haul, trim...  Vaccinations and deworming up to date.

Nala was a mare I purchased after training her.  I wasn't a fan of appaloosa's but this mare was special.  She is small, only standing 14.2hh, but is thick and strong.  I started training her in the spring as a 3 year old.  After 3 weeks she got injured in the pasture and I had to let her heal.  5 months later I brought her back in and started exactly where I left off, she didn't forget a thing.  After a few rides, I left her for a year before starting with her again, and she never did forget a thing.  She is a perfect lady and I hope she passes her wonderful traits onto her foals.

We also found out that Nala is believed to be homozygous for the appaloosa colour gene.
