Dun Overo APHA Filly
Aquila was quite a surprise! In fact when we first saw here, we though that Parti had her granddaughter with her (our sorrel overo filly Ariel from this year). This is the first overo coloured foal Parti has ever produced out of a AQHA stud (and this is her 9th foal!). This filly is so perfect in every way, she is gorgeous, colourful, and a sweet temperament just like mamma. We aren’t sure we’re gonna sell this one, I think she’ll stay here.
Aquila in December, looking fluffy and scruffy but still gorgeous.

Aquila in August 2012 showing us just how perfect she is.
Here she is on pasture at 2 months old.
Aquila’s name is another A name from the bible and it means Eagle, and trust me she is just as elegant as an eagle, and she sure can move like one too! When she moves it looks like she could just sprout wings and fly, she really does float.
Aquila loves her scratches, here she is in late June with our France student Natacha, and earlier in May with our 7 year old daughter Ellie.
She is a well bred flashy looking filly with bloodlines to excel in speed and cow events. Her bloodlines include Hollywood Dunit, Doc Boomernic, Dunit OK, Doco Salty, Doc O’Lena, Three Bars, Docs Hickory, The Ole Man, Poco Tivio, Peponita, Sir Quincy Dan, and more.
Parti has done it again! She has produced another top notch winning foal, this gal is going to the top in any event: reining, working cow, roping, barrels, you name it! Parti out produces herself every time. Here is Aquila at 1 and a half weeks old.

Aquila is bred for barrel racing, roping, working cows, and would also excel as a ranch or 4h horse, western pleasure, trail, or games.
