Sweet Young Lena

1994 Chestnut AQHA Mare

We are sad to say the Lena aborted twins on January 30, 2012.  We were really looking forward to her foal from Boomer.  She is recovering now, and will be ready to rebreed in the spring.

Lena is an own daughter of Young Gun (son of Freckles Playboy), and on the bottom she is a granddaughter of Peppy San.  Her papers also include greats like Doc O’Lena (twice), Jewels Leo Bars, Gay Jay, Lenaette, Leo San, Peppy Belle, and more.

Lena is a wonderfully sweet mare that is new to our herd as of February 2011.  She was bred and raised in Oklahoma before coming up here to BC.  She is a top producer of reining, cutting, and working cow horses.
