Show Ring

This page is mostly full of pictures of past horses and pigs we have sold.  Most of them being horses we have bred and raised, although some are pictures of our mares or stallions offspring that we did not own (outside breedings, etc.).  If you own offspring from any of our mares or stallions, or purchased a horse from us please send us pictures of you 2 in action and we’ll post it on our site.  We are hoping this page will help those looking to buy a horse from us see just how our breeding program is succeeding.

Here is Alex from the Rose Lake Miocene 4H Club showing his pig “Perchurskiy” out of Reba at the 2012 Williams Lake and District 4H show.  They did awesome at showmanship and he went through his hoops easily many times.  Good Job!

The picture on the left is Donavon from the Chimney Valley 4H club and his Reba piglet “Spades” at the 2012 Williams Lake and District 4H show.  Congratulations on getting 3rd in your weight class!

Here is Sarah Grant showing her Quarter Pony mare and filly by Kid Lena in 2011 (also Kira Bendickson handling filly in second picture).  They placed 1st!  Congrats guys.

Mel riding Steel (CV Docs Dashin Steel, son of our mare Parti, and full brother to our mare Hattie) in 2011, and then in the fall of 2010.  Here is what Mel has to say about Steel, as a 4 year old gelding: “He has unbelievable temperament. Honestly he is by far the best tempered and easy going horse ever! I was sitting on him bareback a few days ago and about 20 horses ran across the hay field behind us goofin off and being silly and he didn’t even bat an eye. I thought for sure I was going to get dumped. I am definitely going to purchase from you guys again!”  Thanks Mel, you guys are a great team!

Here is TCs Classy Kitty Cat, 2008 buckskin AQHA daughter of our stallion Nifty TC.  She is the buckskin in the middle of the sitting picture, and the buckskin on the right side of the palomino.  She was part of The Dream Team for Carter Horsemanship.  Just amazing work!  Here is the link to her website and a video of the ride with The Dream Team: http://www.shantyarabians.com/the-dream-team.html

Here are some updated pictures of Dolly’s first foal, Naomi, now known as Solsta.  She is 3 years old (2011) here and her new owner Keira just loves her, says she is a sweetheart, very smart and willing and kind.

Kira and her filly Dash, “CV Burnt Dashin Spurs” in August 2011.

“CV Dash O Salt” and Dolly’s 2010 filly now called Kaddie with their new owners Sammy and her dad Conrad Dunbar in December 2010.

“CV Spotted Lil Lena” 2005 APHA bay overo gelding out of Kid Lena and our old mare Checkers (Parti and Bee’s dam).

His new owner Toni has this to say about him:  I am the very proud owner of CV Spotted Lil Lena, and he is the neatest horse that I have ever known, he is going on 6 and very well broke, we are the best of friends:)  He so smart and cheeky it would be a pleasure to own another like him.

Faye and Niftys Casino Gold at the Terrace Quarter Horse Show in July 2010.  Casino has come home with many 1st in: In Hand Trail and 1st: in Halter class in shows in Northern BC.  Awesome job guys!

Here is CV Docs Dashin Steel (out of our mare Parti) and his owner Melanie Buis during a clinic for green horses.  The instructor couldn’t believe that this boy only had a few days under saddle, he acted like a completely broke horse!!  What a sweet looking team this 2 make.

Dana and CV Satin Olena (out of Kid Lena and our old mare Checkers) in the spring of 2010.

Cinnamons Blue Moon 2006 Dun Overo Filly (out of our mare Pocos Little Blue Dun), now owned by Norma and Don of D & R Quarter Horses and Paints in Saskatchewan.

CV Satin O Lena (2006 APHA filly out of Kid Lena and Codys Par T Bars)

Dana and Satin back in 2008, with the first ride (no buck or spook) and again in December 2009 as a 3 year old.  She sure has grown in a year!

2007 Red Dun Colt out of Nifty TC (and an outside mare).  Reena Myers says he is super quiet and easy to train.  Here he is as a yearling and again as a 2 year old.

2008 Chestnut filly, “Whata Nifty Angel” out of Nifty TC (and an outside mare), she is a half sister to the the colt above that Reena Myers owns as well.  Reena says she is a real sweetheart and loves her Nifty babies.

Breezer and his new owner Anne training for jumps.

Here is CV Golden Nifty Bars (2004 APHA colt out of Nify TC and JS Lena Parti Sal)

As with all of Parti’s foals he is a big boy, pictured here as a 3 year old with his new owner Christine.  Christine says Poncho is a very easy going horse to work with and moves well under saddle.  He loves to please.

Here’s Poncho on a trail ride way out west.

Here is CV Tom Cat Full Moon (2004 ApHCC colt out of Nifty TC and Bar Six Nala).  Christine owns this guy as well, and says Chief is a very laid back easy going horse, and sharp as a tack, remember everything she has taught him.  He is a very people orientated horse.
